Patricia Bujnakova Nominated for ‘International Recognition Award’ at IMA 2025 (E2)

Patricia Bujnakova, known to the drum & bass world as C:rcle, is a rising force whose story is marked by artistic evolution, resilience, and international impact. Raised in a household steeped in classical music, her father a double bass player, Patricia’s early exposure to intricate compositions and rich instrumentation laid the foundation for her sonic sensibilities. But it wasn’t until 2017 that her journey into drum & bass began.

What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a life-defining passion, catapulting her onto stages across Europe. From Slovakia and Hungary to Germany, the Netherlands, and the legendary Printworks in London, C:rcle’s performances have brought high-energy, emotionally intelligent sets to dance floors across the continent.

In 2020, C:rcle stepped beyond the DJ booth and into the world of music production, releasing tracks under the respected Korsakov label. Her sound, a dynamic fusion of deep basslines and cinematic layers, caught the attention of major tastemakers like UKF, an early validation of her potential. But it was in 2024, after surviving a near-fatal car accident, that Patricia’s commitment to her music deepened in an entirely new way. The experience, while traumatic, renewed her clarity and purpose, lighting a fire within her to pursue her dream without compromise.

Now in 2025, C:rcle is entering the most transformative chapter of her career. With a forthcoming release on Liquicity and more in the pipeline, her work continues to push the boundaries of the genre while staying rooted in the emotional authenticity that defines her. Patricia Bujnakova’s artistry transcends borders and genres.

Her journey from classical music halls to underground rave scenes, from personal trauma to creative triumph, is what makes her a truly deserving nominee for the International Recognition Award at IMA 2025. Congratulations, Patricia!
